Our mission

 The strategy of our centre is to be national think tank. Therefore, it is the centre’s important responsibility to help to make decisions on how to build up regional and national cultural industries.
        Since 2006, our centre directly participated in culture planning and policy consulting of national, provincial and municipal level, such as policy research, planning and design, market analysis and high-level training for cultural and creative industry clusters. These achievements help the center win international reputation and have had affected national and local governments in making decision profoundly.
        Dr. Xiong has been working on various national projects with the State Council, Central Propaganda Ministry, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Science &Technology, Ministry of Education, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, General Administration of Press and Publication and many state departments.
        In August 2003, Dr. Xiong was invited to give a lecture on the strategic development of China Cultural Industries to all the members of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He was also invited to lecture in 16 provincial central committee, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi. He had a conversation with 5 members of Political Bureau: Liu Yunshan, Zhang De jiang, Liu Qi, Chen Liangyu and Zhang Lichang; gave keynote speech for four times in National Culture Strategy Seminar of Central Propaganda Ministry of CPC central committee; took part in recording work of CCTV special feature film, “Enlightenments from Cultural System Reform”.
        Our centre makes suggestions for the central government via Dynamic Proof, Situation Reflection and other internal reference channels. We participate in decision making of Central Propaganda Ministry of CPC central committee, Ministry of Culture, State Administration of Radio Film and Television and General Administration of Press and Publication. We made Cultural Industries Plan for Guangdong, Beijing, Yunnan, Henan, Guangxi. We have established strategic and cooperative relationship with local governments, cultural industry strategic investors such as National Development Bank, as well as banks in Beijing, Guangzhou, Yunnan, Guangxi, Henan and Shanghai Zhangjiang Culture Shareholding Co., Ltd. We have organized and participated in significant culture and policy exchange activities on international level.
